Here are some of the cats we have successfully placed!
I'm a super-sweet large, short-haired, 4 year old kitty cat. I'm neutered and up-to-date on shots. My owner went into a nursing home and her daughter is allergic to me. She wants me to go to a good home so she stopped by Pet Savers for help. She will keep me until my shots kick in and I'll come to Pet Savers' shelter on February 18th, 2012, if I don't find a home first. If you'd like to meet me, please call Debbie at 318-573-2981. There is a screening process to adopt me and my adoption fee is $30. After February 18th, 2012, you can meet me at Pet Savers' shelter. After I arrive at the shelter, my adoption fee will increase to $60. Meow! Adopted by daugther 1/12. Updated 2012-02-04 13:55:33 ID# C3623
I'm a sweet, one year old domestic short-haired buff tabby. My owner rescued me from a neighborhood home where I was abandoned with one of my siblings. My sibling was killed by a car and my rescuer took me into her home. Unfortunately, there is a cantankerous old male cat that lives in the home too, and he hates me. He constantly terrorizes me and despite my rescuer's best efforts (including medication to calm the old guy down) he was relentless. She knew the best thing for me was to find a new home. I'm a little scared at Pet Savers right now, but I should come around soon. I'm fully vetted (shots and neutered) and front-paw declawed. I'm a beautiful buff color with gold eyes. I'd love a home where I'll be an indoor cat only and where there are no other mean animals. If you'd like to meet me, please come out to Pet Savers. There is a screening process to adopt me and only responsible, loving homes need come out. Pet Savers' shelter. Adopted 1/12.Updated 2012-01-15 10:11:20 ID# C3615
I'm a sweet medium to long hair 4 month old kitten. My owner is in between jobs and in between homes right now and she needed to find homes for me and two other cats. Pet Savers agreed to take me and put me into foster to allow my shots to kick in and the other two cats, Michi and Chansu, are listed under "Cats not in shelter" on the Pet Savers' website. My foster mommy has helped Pet Savers with many cats and kittens over the years and I'm her newest addition. If you'd like to meet me, please call Diana at 334-663-6490. She's going to ask you a lot of questions and you may have to fill out an application. If I'm not adopted while in foster with Diana, I'll be coming to Pet Savers' shelter on or around January 31, 2012. You may want to call Diana first to make sure I'm there before heading out. I'll be neutered very soon or if you adopt me before I'm neutered, you'll get a $50 voucher to go towards my neutering. Meow!! Adopted 1/12.Updated 2012-01-21 14:08:38 ID# C3614
My mommy was Dr. Donna Holder, the doctor (anesthesiologist) that was murdered November 18th, 2011, in Bossier City, La. My mommy adopted me from a kill-shelter about 8 months ago when I was a kitten. She loved me very much and I loved her too. I, along with another kitty my mommy took care of, lived primarily outside, but I came in sometimes. Family members could not find homes for us, so they came to Pet Savers. Pet Savers agreed to take me at the shelter and found a place for the other kitty. The circumstances that I am at Pet Savers is very sad and I will miss my mommy very much. My mommy's family says Dr. Holder was a lover of all animals. I know I'll see her again when I cross the rainbow bridge, but until then, I do have a home at Pet Savers and hopefully soon, a forever home with someone else. I'm sweet, affectionate, and friendly. I'm spayed, up-to-date on shots, healthy, and beautiful. In my new home, I'm to be an indoor cat only. If you'd like to meet me, please come out to Pet Savers' shelter. There is a screening process to adopt me and Pet Savers is going to be very selective about my new home. If you're responsible and looking for an indoor, sweet cat, I hope you come out. I'm a sweet 6 month old kitten. I was one of the original Louisiana Down's kittens. I was adopted to a lovely lady. I went to live with her, her other cat, Marshmallow, and a dog she adopted from Pet Savers. Sadly, my owner is now dealing with a serious health issue. Her parents have generously agreed to take care of her dog, but they could not take care of us too, so Marshmallow and I are now at Pet Savers. I'm up-to-date on shots and spayed. If you'd like to bring me into your heart and home, please come on out to Pet Savers and meet me. There is a screening process to adopt me, but responsible pet owners really have no problem. I am very sad. My sister, Carolina, and I have been surrendered to Pet Savers. My owner is getting a divorce and doesn't have a place to stay. She could no longer care for us. I miss her terribly. It's been rough, but things are starting to look up. I am 7 months old, but very small. I will not be a big kitty. Pet Savers has given me my first set of kitty shots and will soon get me spayed. I am due for another set of shots in a couple of weeks. They are taking good care of me and my sister, but I would really like a home. One that will love me and never abandon me like my other home did. I'm super sweet and affectionate. I'm a little shy at first, but that's only because of all that I've been through. There is a screening process to adopt, but responsible pet owners should have no problems. Pet Savers' shelter. Adopted 12/11.Updated 2011-12-28 11:16:56 ID# C3598

It wasn't that long ago that I had a nice home. I was an inside cat living it up with the best owner ever, but then she got sick and passed away. After being an inside kitty for a long time, I was put outside to fend for myself. The outside can be an awfully scary place. Pet Savers had taken me in along with several of my brothers and sisters. Now I spend my days relaxing in the safety of the cat shed. It's quiet there for the most part and while I still miss my owner, I am a happy guy. I am about 5 years old, neutered and up-to-date on shots. I love it when my head is scratched. Well, now that we've talked for a bit, I'm going back to sleep. If you'd like to meet me, come on out to Pet Savers. There is a screening process to adopt, but if you are a good pet owner then you shouldn't have any problems. Pet Savers' shelter. I'm a super-cute, super-sweet 7 week old kitten. I was dumped in someone's driveway when I was only about 3 weeks old. I wasn't even old enough to be away from my mommy and it's a miracle I survived. Thanks to Diana, Pet Savers' uber-awesome foster home, here I am alive and well. I'm a medium-haired orange (marble) tabby kitten. I have a spunky personality and am very playful! I'm up-to-date on shots and ready for my forever home. I should be arriving at Pet Savers' shelter sometime around December 3, 2011. In the meantime, if you'd like to meet me, please call Diana at 1-334-663-6490. There is a screening process to adopt me and my adoption fee is $60, which will get you a $50 voucher to get me neutered when I come of age. Adopted 12/11.Updated 2011-12-04 09:15:09 ID# C3585
I'm a super-cute, super-sweet 9 week old kitten. I was found in the Home Depot parking lot when I was just a wee baby. I wasn't even old enough to be away from my mommy and it's a miracle I survived. Thanks to Diana, Pet Savers' uber-awesome foster home, here I am alive and well. I'm a short-haired grey tabby kitten. I have a bushy little tail that resembles a raccoon. I'm up-to-date on shots and ready for my forever home. I should be arriving at Pet Savers' shelter sometime around November 19th, 2011. In the meantime, if you'd like to meet me, please call Diana at 1-334-663-6490. I'm a super-sweet BIG 7 year old brown tabby. My daddy, who has had me all of my life, has to move to a retirement village and he can't take me with him. He loves me so much, though, and wants to make sure I go to a good and responsible home. I'm a big girl, with medium-length hair. I'm spayed, up-to-date on my shots, front-paw declawed, and micro chipped. If you'd like to meet me, please call my daddy at 318-464-5833. If, in about three weeks (towards end of October, 2011), I have not found a home, I'll be coming to Pet Savers' shelter. While I'm with my daddy, my adoption fee is $30 and there is a screening process to adopt me. After I come to Pet Savers, my adoption fee will be $60 and of course, a screening will take place. Won't you transition me into another home so that I don't have to go to the shelter? Love, Bogey. Adopted 10/11.Updated 2011-10-19 14:32:40 ID# C3571
Yes, I'm named after the Eagles song. Miss Laura was listening to it on her iPod the day that I came in. She thought I looked like a "desperado" which is an outlaw. Silly woman...I'm no outlaw. I like the name though. I was a bit shy at first, but I'm beginning to come out of my shell. My owner passed away, and I miss her so. It was lonely after she left, but I'm not alone anymore. There are many cats here at Pet Savers, and we are all looking for our forever homes. Some of us lost our owners, and some of us had owners you no longer wanted us. Still others were strays. Whatever our past, our future is bright because we all have a chance at finding our forever homes. And if it takes a little while, that's okay, because we are here at Pet Savers. Safe and sound. I'm neutered and up-to-date on shots. I'm about 5 years old. There is a screening process prior to adoption, but responsible pet owners should have no problems. Pet Savers' Shelter. Adopted 10/11?
Desperado, why don't you come to your senses? You been out ridin' fences for so long now Oh, you're a hard one I know that you got your reasons These things that are pleasin' you Can hurt you somehow
Yo! You talking to me?? Huh? Huh? They call me "Paulie". I'm the muscle here at Pet Savers. My little brothers, Francois and Jacques, are here with me. I gotta watch out for them....keep them in line. It's a tough job, but somebody has to do it. I'm not as social as my brothers, but I got a lot of love to give. I am 4 months old and super sweet. Pet Savers made sure to get me neutered, and I am up-to-date on shots as well. There is a screening process prior to adoption, but responsible pet owners should have no problems. Pet Savers' shelter. Bonjour!!! I am Francois (left) and this is my brother, Jacques (left). We are hanging out at Pet Savers until we can catch a ride to ole' Paris! Our journey didn't start off very well. Our litter was a result of pet owners who don't spay/neuter their pets. We entered the world "unwanted" and "unloved". We were headed towards a tragic death until a volunteer took us into her home. NOW, we are "wanted" and very much "loved". We are 4 months old and super-sweet. Pet Savers made sure to get us neutered, and we are up-to-date on shots as well. There is a screening process prior to adoption, but responsible pet owners should have no problems. Pet Savers' shelter. Both adopted by 1/12.Updated 2012-01-15 10:15:37 ID# C3543
Mew! I'm a precious little sweet 6-7 week old kitten. I was found trying to cross a busy street... twice! Thankfully, someone stopped and scooped me up! Why-oh-why is the world so cruel to innocent animals like me? Why don't people spay and neuter their pets so that poor defenseless babies like us aren't trying to fend for ourselves? So many die everyday either in shelters or the elements or human neglect and cruelty. If more people knew of the atrocities in our area, I think more people would step up to make a difference. Until then, Pet Savers will continue to do what they do... trying to save one animal at a time. I'm in foster right now with Diana and 5 other kittens. I love having new friends to play with, but would love a forever home of my own. I'm up-to-date on shots and my adoption fee is $60, which will get you a $50 to get me neutered if I'm not already at the time of adoption. I'll be coming to Pet Savers' shelter sometime around August 30th, 2011. In the meantime, if you'd like to meet me, please call my foster mommy, Diana, at 1-334-663-6490.
