Dogs Needing Homes

Dogs Who Really Need Homes!
We have two pages of dogs needing homes. Unless stated otherwise, dogs are boarded at either at Southern Hills Animal Hospital (686-5945) or at South Shreveport Animal Hospital (798-2400).

Rowdy (male)
Rowdy is a big puppy who is back on the market. He's part Bird Dog and part Border Collie. All his brothers and sisters were adopted long ago, but Rowdy has been returned from 2 homes. Call 861-2020.

Blackie
This is Blackie, a 3-4 year-old Blue Heeler/ Black Lab mix. She is energetic and fun and affectionate, but can get under or over almost any enclosure. Spayed, heartworm negative. Call 861-2020 to see her.

Barney (male)
Young male Australian Shepherd. Light heartworm positive. Will treat. Not yet neutered.

Let's PLAY!!!

Hootie (male)
We call him Hootie. He is about 7 months old brown catahoula. Found him in Betty Virginia park. Had all of his shots and had him neutered. Very nice puppy, but just can't keep him with our 3 dogs and 3 cats. Looking for a loving home. Please call or email for more info. 318-393-7783

Champ (male)
Champ was thrown over the fence at Southern Hills Animal Hospital. He is some kind of mix, and a sweet boy who deserves better treatment.

Pfghtttt!!!

Brownie (female)
Brownie is a female dog who lived on her own in South Highlands until someone was able to befriend her and gain her trust enough to get her in a crate. She had puppies that were all taken to the pound and put down because of Parvo. She has been spayed and treated for heartworms. Still shy and will need a special home.

Katie Beth (female)
Special needs Beagle about 2 years old. Spayed. Small. Has a club foot and seizures. Very sweet and shy. Heartworm pills up to date.

Gibson (male)
We think he is a Min-Pin mix. He is a young dog from the pound and was neutered, treated for heartworms, adopted, and later returned because his owners are moving. His new home only lasted a few weeks. Not a good adoption. He deserves better.
