Families, children, and dogs

Small children (5 years and under) and small dogs don't always mix and is one of the top reasons dogs are surrendered to kill and no-kill shelters in the United States. As a result, Pet Savers does not typically adopt dogs to families with very young children unless the circumstances are fitting.

Dogs and Puppies Not In The Shelter

We are a non-profit animal rescue and placement organization. We love animals and want all of them to have happy homes.

This takes money.

The following animals are NOT being sheltered through Pet Savers, but also need homes.

We are happy to help place pets, but we also run a shelter. Our $80 adoption fee doesn't cover the average expenses for maintaining a cat or a dog. If you find an animal through our website, please help us by donating through Just Give.

Your donation helps to save lives.
