I’m a 6 year old Shih Tzu. I’m coming to Pet Savers with Tinkerbell and Cupid because my owner has become incapacitated and can no longer care for us. I’m spayed and UTD on shots. I was rescued off the side of the road in Sibley by a really nice man who works for the oil field. I was running with another puppy, but he was able to find a home for him. Pet Savers says I’m a yellow lab… maybe even pure-bred. I’m about 3-4 months old and have a super-sweet temperament. I’m gonna’ be a big girl when I grow up. I eat A LOT! Ruf! I’m a teeny tiny Jack Russell/Dachshund mix. I’m so very tiny that Pet Savers has to leave me in the office. I probably weigh only about a pound or so. I’m about 2 months old and will be a small doggie when I grow up. My owner adopted me from a kill-shelter, but has since realized that she doesn’t really have time for a puppy. I sleep most of the time, but I do love to be held and give lots of kisses. I’m looking for a home where there are no small children… because of my size. Bark! I�m a super-exciteable� not-so-housetrained 5 year old Maltese. My owner grew up and moved out� and her mom just doesn�t have time for me� but she wanted to make sure I went to a good and responsible home, so she surrendered me to Pet Savers. I will need a home that can provide me tons of attention� because I crave attention. I love to jump, jump, jump� and play, play, play� so, I�m sure I�d do great in a home with another dog that loves to do the same. Bark! We were found roaming an apartment complex in Bossier City. We are some type of schnauzer/terrier mix. We are small now and will remain small once grown. Bark! I’m a super-cute, super-sweet Schnauzer mix of some sort. I was found in a neighborhood in Haughton completely matted, very skinny, and in really bad shape. Luckily, I was scooped up by a kind citizen and cleaned up and fed. I’ve just arrived at Pet Savers from their vet where I was neutered, vaccinated, and tested for heartworms. The results of my heartworm test are not in yet, though. Pet Savers thinks I’m about 2-3 years old. While my rescuer had me she found out that I’m housetrained (although, if you don’t keep your eye on me… I might lift my leg)… but a quick “no” will get me to stop. I’m super with kids, other dogs, and cats. I’m small at only about 15 pounds and would make a great companion. If you’d like to meet me, come to Pet Savers’ shelter! I’m really sad. My owner is military and going overseas and says she can’t take me with her. I hope I can find a new home quickly because I’m not used to the shelter life. I’m used to a comfy home and my comfy kennel. I’m about 1 ½ years old and a lab mix of some sort. I’m medium-sized at about 45 pounds or so. I’m housetrained and crate-trained, great with kids, and most other non-dominant dogs. I’m not sure about cats, ‘cause I’ve never lived with them. Ain’t I just the purtiest thang you ever saw?! Woof! I was found in Benton near Crouch Road. I’m a Basset Hound and I think I’m young… maybe 2 years old or so. Shucks… I’m not sure. I have the bestest attitude too. When I was chew’n on my rawhide bone, Tommy, Tramp, and Ruth were all look’n at me and bark’n at me… ‘cause they wanted my bone. I didn’t care… I just kept chew’n. I do great with kids, other dawgs, and probably cats too… just ‘cause I’m so laid back. I’m head’n to the vet on or around February 17th, for neuter’n and everything else they do. I’m sad and scared. I was abandoned. I waited patiently for days for my owners to return… but they never did. This lady named Kathy kept seeing me over and over again. One day, though, she stopped and knelt down to tell me my owners were probably not coming back. Since she looked like a nice lady, I decided I’d better go along with her. I need help with housetraining and I’m not good with cats, but I do get along good with other dogs and people. I’m a little shy at first… but I do come around after a couple of days. I’ve been through a lot after all. Pet Savers is not sure how old I am, but I’m probably under 5 years old based upon my teeth. I’m a chow/shepherd mix of some sort, neutered, and UTD on shots. Hey ya’ll! Ain’t I just the cutest thing you ever did see? I’m a Basset Hound mix of some sort. I’m young… probably only about 8 months old. I wandered up to Cynthia’s house in Greenwood and she tried to find my owner, but couldn’t. She couldn’t stand to see me out in the cold, so she figured she’d take me in. Boy howdy… I sure am glad she did! She says that I’m housetrained too. I’m headed to Pet Savers’ vet on Monday, February 15, 2010, where they’ll do all sorts of things like neutering and stuff like that. I wonder what neutering means? Ninna keeps say’n “balls are for chas’n”. What’s that got to do with neutering? Oh well… shucks… whatever they say is fine with me. They got treats! I was neglected and virtually abandoned in an apartment with two cats. The neighbors started noticing a smell from the apartment and called the apartment manager. She found me and the two cats living in filth, scared, and alone. Someone contacted Pet Savers and here I am. Jumpy little dogs make me nervous which means little kids might make me nervous too. I’m the last of the boxer pups. I don’t know why no one has adopted me yet. There were 7 of us… and all my brothers and sisters have been adopted. If I look a little nervous it's because these ladies took me from my owner and brought me to Pet Savers. See, my owner tripped over me and broke her ankle and had to go to a nursing home. I’m a super-sweet and docile miniature dapple dachshund. I was found in a subdivision in Haughton, but my rescuer has not been able to find my home. My rescuer says I’m housetrained, great with kids, other dogs, and cats. I’m not a puppy, but I don’t think I’m very old either. Based upon my teeth, I’m probably around 2-4 years old. I’m unique, ‘cause I have one blue eye and one brown eye… and very pretty coloring, if I do say so myself. I’m headed to the vet to check to see if I’m spayed and get me UTD on shots.
