Contrary to what many people think, running a shelter has very little to do with “playing with animals all day (we wish!),” instead it’s about the day-to-day work of keeping their cages clean, keeping them fed, and keeping them healthy. You wouldn’t believe the amount of paper towels and laundry detergent we go through!
