Meet Spike a handsome four-year-old German Shepherd mix looking for a fresh start at a forever home to call his own. After being given up by his owner, another kind person tried for three months to help him by the family, but sadly Spike is still waiting. This sweet boy weighs about 40 pounds and is neutered,travels well and walks nicely on a leash. Spike enjoys adventures and would make a great companion for someone who wants a loyal dog by their side. Spike is very selective about other dogs and would need very careful introductions to other dogs or be an only dog. He’s a little too rough and rowdy for smaller children so a home with older kids and adults would likely be the best fit for him.
